The Amityville Horror (1979 version) was actually kind of a boring horror movie. Although, maybe it's just dated. I haven't seen the Ryan Reynolds version from a few years back, also entitled The Amityville Horror, but from 2005. Maybe that one is scarier. This one just had a lot of spooky things happening, but nothing you could really see. Some horror movies do that fantastically, don't get me wrong. This one just dragged in places. Then again, it was also a little weird to see Louis Lane (Margot Kidder) from Supermanin a horror movie. Still, it's almost Halloween, so it was worth a shot watching an old horror film.

The general gist of the movie is: Newlyweds and their kids move into a house where a family was murdered and strange things start to happen. It's supposedly based on a true story.

Now, I have never seen any ghosts. Yet. I don't discount them, though. I have had a few strange things happen.

The most recent is this. Lately, at night, I've been hearing this sound:

Weird, huh? Yeah. Especially since I've been asleep. Turns out the sound is being caused by this:

This is my plastic pink pig. He's not alive. He does make noise, but only if you press a button or turn him upside down. I am not pressing a button or turning him upside down in the middle of the night. Yet, here and there...he starts making noises. Ghost? Or just a malfunction?  I'll let you decide....
