E.T. - The Extra-Terrestrial (20th Anniversary Edition)
was a fun one that I rewatched last night. I hadn't seen the added clips before in this edition (In my opinion, they aren't necessary though and don't add much, although they're fun) and it was amusing to see the walkie talkies instead of guns.It's still such a great movie. Eliot and E.T.'s friendship is still as engaging as it was when I was a kid and watching it for the first time. It even made me want Reese's Pieces. I almost went out and bought some. Almost. And, I admit to being sniffly and teary when they find E.T. in the ditch. I can't help it!
Anyway, since I didn't have Reese's Pieces at home to lay out and see what type of man or beast or extra terrestrial would come and find me, I used dog treats instead. And, here's what happened:
Ok, it was tooootally staged. I'll admit it, but she's my E.T. And, I had to, of course get this pic:
I hope this E.T. will stick around with us for awhile.
