My top five scary movies, in honor of Scream 4 coming out to theaters!
Scream
. They made fun of horror movies - genius! It was funny AND scary!!!!! Can't wait to see Scream 4!
Nightmare on Elm Street
(the original). Besides starring a young Johnny Depp...what a great idea - a crazed killer stalking you in your dreams!!!! You HAVE to go to sleep sometime!
Halloween
(the original with Jamie Lee Curtis). It's just such a well done horror movie.
The Shining
(the original with Jack Nicholson). I love Stephen King and was so fascinated by The Shining that I actually went to Estes Park, CO and went to the hotel where Stephen King got the idea - The Stanley Hotel!
The Watcher in the Woods.
Okay, this one's out of left field, but seriously, it's the first movie that I remember scaring me... It's an old Disney movie. It probably doesn't hold up, but when I was nine...scary!
